Exhaustion Gap Down this morning OR Buying Opportunity?

The Futures are down as of this time.  DOW INDU Futures are down about 139 points.  I have mentioned the possibility of an Exhaustion Gap Down a lot lately due to the current market conditions.  I just want to mention again, CAUTION.  Don't Assume that just because the Futures are down a large amount that we will get an Exhaustion Gap Down. 

Further confirmation that we are going to actually get an exhaustion gap down include the notes added to this morning's Pre-Market Update.  ShepWave targets have been getting nailed.  Is it time to BUY the indexes for a 'bounce' mid term trade?  Will a key low be hit once the VIX (Volatility Index) breaks above 31?  Be careful using the VIX as a trading tool 'in itself'!! Remember; we are dealing with some Long Term Signals which the markets haven't seen in a Long Time!

As suspected the Gap Up Monday morning was a 'head fake' and another good  Selling Opportunity.  We are seeing positive divergence on the 60 Minute and Daily time frames and the indexes have nailed the ShepWave targets for the recent mid term down trend.  BUT, remember that until we see an actual Buy Signal the markets remain risky.  (regardless  of what you hear on TV).

And as stated in many updates .. the markets are in a 'perfect' set up for an Exhaustion  Gap Down.  Exhasution Gap Downs cannot be predicted!  But, conditions are right.  If an Exhaustion Gap Down 'does' occur refer to the links given in tonight's update for updates showing key mid to longer term potential 'support' areas.

ShepWave has locked in a lot of profits this year (especially in June/July) and have unloaded a lot of positions recently.  We are looking to begin adding new positions asap.
