Intra Day NOTE Posted at 3:40
ShepWave has entered in to a new position this afternoon.
Does the intra day reversal present a buying opportunity? Go to http://www.shepwave.com/ for recent trades including today's trade.
Would you buy Bear Stearns for $2 per share? JP Morgan wants to. And it is even a stock swap deal. Sounds like the deal of the century. Remember; when something seems too good to be true.... it usually is. The FED keeps cutting and changing monetary policy only to see brief bounces in the equity indexes. Will this change? The Futures are down at this time 10:00 PM Sunday Night. Dow Futures are down about 225 points. In tonight's update I compare the current market conditions with those of 1987 when the Dow Industrials Index lost 41.15% from its high set in August 1987 to its low of October 1987. IF we get a big sell off in the U.S. Indexes will this create a buying opportunity? Will we see 14,000 on the Dow Industrials Index again any time soon? I just want to get traders/ investors 'thinking' of what the long term implications and signals are in our current economic situation in the U.S. A close look at market technicals is necessary for investors/traders of all sizes and types.
We have taken a lot of profits during the recent selling action. The bounce targets have been working out as well. See KEY TRADE TRIGGERS in tonight's ShepWave Updates.
Should Long Term Investors be positioned for the Dow Industrials Index to go to 14,000+ or to 7,000?
Remember, just because the Country is in a Recession there are still plenty of profits to make in the markets!
