Pre-Market / Intra Day Update for Monday Published: As of Pre-Market for Monday, September 16, 2019 we will need to be careful not to over-react to any selling pressure and at the same time realize that the major U.S. equity indexes (including the NDX/QQQ) have recently come up against their mid to longer term resistance areas.
REMEMBER recent technicals: the wedge patterns as anticipated followed by the upward thrust as anticipated--taking key indexes to some key resistance areas.
The attack on the Saudi Oil facilities have taken the U.S. equity futures down as expected--and as well have caused an upward surge in WTI-CRUDE OIL futures. See the Special Update for Monday showing the weekly time frame charts for a potential short-to-mid term action in WTI-CRUDE OIL. Let's play this week very cautiously--don't overreact yet. IMPORTANT NOTE regarding attack on Saudi Arabia oil production sites--See the wedge pattern and technicals we added to weekly chart of WTI-Crude Oil in Monday's Special Update. We first covered this pattern and potential on August 2, 2019. The wedge pattern could be signaling some sharp and potentially whip-saw moves of a large degree.

As a note of caution: There are a lot of analysts who try to predict wave counts. Please be careful of doing that. It is good to understand the dynamics and underlying principles of Elliott Wave Theory but in the labeling of wave patterns, remember that no pattern or wave count is official until the next wave series begins. So many otherwise really good analysts seem not to understand this simple concept with regards to Elliott Wave Theory. The key is to follow the appropriate Trade Triggers as given by ShepWave analysis.
