New all time high finally in the Dow Industrials.  This clears up the path for a couple of different (potentially volatile) market moves in the next few weeks.

The Regular Update for Thursday has been published.

In this update the daily technical analysis is given for the major U.S. equity indexes and for WTI-CRUDE OIL, GOLD and the VIX.

We at ShepWave have been in continual communication with a lot of our more active traders for the past few days. The recent activity for the major U.S. equity indexes is showing some potentially critical technicals and possible NEW-TRADE set-ups for short-to-mid term traders. Read the notes and analysis in this update closely.

We are seeing some key technicals in a lot of these indexes:

(1) The Dow Transportation index hit a new all time recently--but the Dow Industrials index is just new making new recent highs and still has not made a new all time high.

(1a) Also the Dow Industrials index has formed a potential volatile pattern.

(2) WTI-Crude Oil continues to bounce above 50 day moving average--having found support at the 200 day moving average. Will this change? Is this from Hurricane Florence?

(3) GOLD has some aggressive short term signals and we are anticipating a mid term to longer term signal soon!

(4) The $INDU and $SPX have newly formed wedge patterns. Pay close attention.
