The short term aggressive SELL SIGNALS may have culminated in Monday's sell off.
Monday's gap down open managed to fill some of the gap up opens from early June in the SPY/SPX. Notice that the one gap up open that was not filled from late May (in the SPY) is actually an Island Reversal.
So remember: these gaps will all play out in their own way. The gap down open from Monday's open will reveal some new insights to many traders who are not informed of the possibilities.
These whip-saw moves will shake out some weak hands in the next few weeks--that much is guaranteed. Be Ready!
