ShepWave IMPORTANT Update for Wednesday. CRISIS COMING?

The Pre-Market / Intra Day Update for Wednesday will be published shortly. Hopefully it will be available by 11:15 PM ET USA.

Based on the statements made by President Trump as well as some earnings indications today--there is some reason to be concerned with the current market trend.

Stay focused. Remember to stay objective and use our trigger areas as they come.

Many of you took the aggressive short term sell signal on Tuesday (based on the action in the 15 minute charts) and are wondering about safe areas to place your stop/loss. This will be covered.

Also, notice how the low of Tuesday hit a key trend line we have been using for a few months; see the 60 min SPY chart. This does present a short to mid term critical technical that we will want to keep an eye on.

Also, be aware of the gap down open possibility in the morning. Will we see an Exhaustion Gap down open in which case we should not anticipate the gap filling--or will we see any gap from Wednesday's open fill?

A lot of you have been with ShepWave for a long time. Some even longer than the 14 plus years as ShepWave.

Remember market shocks are nothing new. The key is to stay objective and to optimize profits. Generally when markets go into a Crisis Mode of sorts the opportunities to make the most profits are generally short-lived. This is especially true if you are trading aggressive vehicles, such as Futures or Options.

If the markets do go into Crisis Mode it will be even more important to stay objective. We need to avoid becoming too emotional. Remember 911 (September 11, 2011)?  Most of us were open long side positions that morning and managed to take a hit when the markets finally re-opened.

 I do not think that will be the case here, but keep in mind that if something like that does happen we do not forget our objective basics of trading and investing.

The notes in the 60 min SPY chart are extremely important. Notice the Outside Down Day and Week potential(s) here. This is highly critical and even long term investors will want to pay attention to these notes and trigger areas.
