Prechter has served the financial community well, over the past several decades. Any analyst should have a debt of gratitude for his work. He has managed to bring true objectivity to a field that is usually characterized by emotion and greed.

Special ShepWave Update for Monday Published
In this update I have shown the weekly time frame analysis.
Just to review briefly: we do have some key technicals on the weekly time frame which do point to a potential short to mid term bearish trend change. But we have NO SELL SIGNAL. Note the distinction.
These weekly charts are mainly focused on the longer term trend primarily pertinent to investors. But they do serve as context for those of us who are more active traders and investors. The recent patterns in the Dow Industrials index may be showing a potential that we are NOT in fact in the process of setting a key long term top.
Remember: stay objective and play the technicals as they occur. Going too heavily bearish too early has cost many. Let's stay objective here, especially with regards to long term investments.
Now is not the time to become an overly emotional trader or investor.

Watch for the short term trigger signals as given in this Pre-Market / Intra Day Update for Monday. If the markets are going to make a major longer term trend change--it will begin on these time frames.
It is important to resist the temptation of being overly bearish too early--that is how a lot of options traders go bust very quickly.
