So far so good. Notice how we did see the new all time highs in the Dow Industrials and Dow Transportation indexes--as anticipated--and we are seeing divergence in key time frames.  But the SPX has not given us a new high recently.

So, are the markets waiting for the SPX to top out to actually give a short term bearish signal? Well you will want to pay close attention to some possible short term wave counts and to signals. Remember no Elliott Wave Theory wave count is final until the next cycle begins--but that does not mean that we don't have critical technical information to guide us until that confirmation. So many other-wise good analysts fail to see this distinction.
