Markets are still within a key trend channel. Compare the charts in the Regular Update for Monday (daily time frames) to the short term action.

2:24 PM IMPORTANT INTRA DAY UPDATE PUBLISHED

Watching CNBC with the volume up is indeed entertaining; for about 30 seconds anyway. As you have seen following along with ShepWave analysis, the markets remain predictable and profitable,as they have for some time now. The Government shutdown has not made the indexes any less predictable.

Note the important technicals occurring today. Also note that a Special Update will be published by Tomorrow Morning to show some mid term targets. Some critical trade management notes have been also published. Remember markets do not go straight down or straight up. There will be some good opportunities for new positions very shortly.
