10:30 PM ET Election Pre-Market Update #2 Published
The race is about tied for the Presidency of the United States, yet the Futures are down. Dow Industrial futures are down about 80 points at this time.
As constantly covered in ShepWave Updates the most important aspect in effective trading and investing is the charts. Be careful relying on a reaction from news to move the markets.

I will be updating this report as we see the election results come in this evening. I will be watching the futures closely. The daily chart for the Dow Transportation index has been added at the top of the charts. Read the notes in that chart and the other charts. Notice the Transportation index has hit this mid term trend line several times over the past 10 months.
