We are seeing some important techncials today. This morning's trade provided some easy Christmas shopping funds. Note the triggers for today.

Additional Pre-Market Notes added at 1:47 AM ET

The markets have been behaving as expected recently. The recent re-test of the trend/resistance line presented us with some good entry points. Those who have taken these trades should use stops to lock in profits.

Markets do not 'usually' go straight down. So, in the additional notes added to Thursday Morning's Update are some guidelines and trigger areas for those of you who want to BUY for a potential short term trade. Also, watch the trigger areas to strengthen the mid to longer term bearish view; just because the key resistance line has been holding is no guarantee. Be careful to never get too over confident. Stay objective and disciplined at all times.

The indexes are behaving as expected. Notice that Crude Oil and Gold have even made the expected moves (cf. Update #4 from this past weekend).

After re-testing a key trend line four times the markets made a trend change yesterday morning. (Note yesterday's Trade Signal; use stops to secure profits.)
