The markets continue to show volatile action.
The gap down open from Thursday filled. It is always my initial (default) view to see any gap fill. However there are particular circumstances in which I would not expect to see a gap fill. There are some special notes in this update regarding "Gap Opens".
There are many threats curently that are affecting the markets. But notice that even in the presence of these influences, the charts (and objective technical analysis) are still the most reliable method in determining direction and trading targets.
