Again, I had CNBC on for about 2 minutes and it just continues to amaze me at how they use logical fallacies. One of the most popular logical fallacies is called in the Latin, post hoc ergo propter hoc. In the English this means, "after this therefore because of this." It assumes that just because something happens after a parrticular event or action that it is caused by the preceding event or action. As usual I advise turning down the volume on CNBC as you are watching the charts for triggers and confirmation signals.
See triggers and confirmation signals in this update. The indexes continue to behave in predictable and profitable patterns. Those of us who have been actively trading the Russelll 2000 index since the beginning of July have been able to continue to lock in sizable profits. Note that the other indexes have been predictable as well, but the moves in the Russell have been greater in degree.
